PT Kavo Maison Bali – Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy & Liability Waiver
Booking & Payment
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
Prices are quoted in EUR (or IDR equivalent) per person, per package, unless otherwise stated.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid at the moment of the booking. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required immediately.
No discounts will be applied retrospectively once a booking is confirmed.
Age & Health Requirements
Guests must be at least 18 years old to book independently. Under 18 travelling alone may attend with written parental consent.
By booking, guests confirm they are physically fit, able to swim, and capable of participating in surf and yoga activities.
Surfing and yoga involve physical exertion and risks. Guests with medical conditions, injuries or special needs must consult a doctor before booking.
Surfing is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with serious respiratory or cardiac conditions.
Cancellation Policy (By Guest)
All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
More than 90 days before arrival: 100% transferable as credit to another retreat date within 12 months.
30–90 days before arrival: 25% forfeited, 75% transferable as credit within 12 months.
15–30 days before arrival: 50% forfeited, 50% transferable as credit.
Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% forfeited, no refunds or credits.
No-shows/early departures: non-refundable.
Bookings may be transferred to another guest (18+) for the same dates/package, with written notice.
Cancellation Policy (By PT Kavo Maison Bali)
PT Kavo Maison Bali will not cancel retreats once guests are booked, except in cases of force majeure (natural disaster, epidemic, war, government restrictions, etc.).
In cases of force majeure, payments may be held as credit towards a future stay. Guests are required to hold valid travel insurance covering cancellations due to force majeure.
We are not liable for costs incurred by guests for travel, visas, or arrangements outside our retreat.
Insurance & Travel Documents
Comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, medical treatment, hospitalization abroad, emergency evacuation, and surfing coverage) is mandatory.
Guests are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and travel documents. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from entry into Indonesia.
Check-in, Check-out & Camp Services
Check-in: from 3:00 PM.
Check-out: until 11:00 AM.
Early check-in (before 3 PM): available on request, subject to availability, for an extra fee.
Late check-out (until 10 PM): available on request, subject to availability, for an extra fee.
Surf lessons and meals start the day after check-in and end with the morning of check-out (no surf lessons or breakfast on arrival).
Surf Policy
– Surf sessions on the day of arrival are not included but could be arranged for an additional charge.
– Necessary surf attires (lycra and rash guards) are provided.
– Surf sessions occur in all weather conditions, and rain is not a reason for cancellation, but if the weather condition are not safe the surf instructor may cancel the lesson with no refunds.
– Missed surf lessons or inability to participate in lessons for any reason (including physical or medical conditions) will not be refunded.
– Surf lessons may be rescheduled due to certain public holidays or bad weather conditions, but this cannot be guaranteed.
– Surf lesson times are flexible, running from 5:30 am to 5:00 pm, depending on tide, wind, and swell conditions.
– Boat shuttle fees for outer reef classes are not included and must be paid separately.
Transfers & Delays
Airport transfers can be arranged with advance notice (at least 48h before arrival).
Delays may occur due to traffic or multiple flight pickups. PT Kavo Maison Bali is not responsible for missed flights due to external factors.
Guests must provide flight details in advance for guaranteed transfer service.
Nyepi Day
During Nyepi Day (Balinese Day of Silence), guests may not leave the property, and no surf lessons or excursions will be conducted.
Airport transfers may not be possible on Nyepi Day or the evening before.
Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By booking with PT Kavo Maison Bali, guests acknowledge and agree:
Surfing, yoga, and travel involve known and unanticipated risks which may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death.
Risks include but are not limited to: collisions with surfboards or other surfers, ocean currents, hitting the sea floor, drowning, dehydration, sunburn, animal encounters, equipment malfunction, or instructor misjudgment.
My participation is entirely voluntary and I accept full responsibility for my choice to participate.
I assume all risks, and release, indemnify and hold harmless PT Kavo Maison Bali, its owners, staff, contractors and suppliers from any claims, losses, damages, or legal costs arising from participation.
I certify that I have adequate insurance. If not, I agree to bear the costs of any injury or damage myself.
Natural elements (weather, waves, insects, reptiles, bacteria, viruses) are beyond the control of PT Kavo Maison Bali and are not grounds for refund.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to camp property.
Legal jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by Indonesian law. Any disputes will be handled under Indonesian courts.
Privacy & Media
Guest data is used only for booking purposes.
By booking, guests consent to photos and videos taken during camp activities being used for marketing by PT Kavo Maison Bali. Guests may opt out in writing.
